Joey Daccord

ABOUT JOEY DACCORD

Professional ice hockey goaltender and athlete who is best known for playing for the Ottawa Senators and the Seattle Kraken in the National Hockey League. He stands six feet, two inches tall and weighs just over 200 pounds.

He played hockey at Cushing Academy in high school. He then played for the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the United States Hockey League. He played three seasons of college hockey with the Arizona Sun Devils in 2016. He played for the Ottawa Senators in 2019, but his big break was being selected by the Seattle Kraken during the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft.

He holds citizenship in the United States, Canada, and Switzerland. He is an ambassador for Brooks Running. During the 2010-11 season, Daccord started playing junior ice hockey with North Andover High School. Daccord would help North Andover to a 3-0 record in their first three games of the 2011-12 season.

He was born and raised in North Andover, Massachusetts. His father is a former professional hockey player. His brother Alex also plays hockey.

He has played alongside Yanni Gourde on the Seattle Kraken.
