ABOUT JOE MUSGROVE

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays during the second round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the San Diego Padres via trade in January 2021. He was a member of the World Series-winning Houston Astros in 2017.

He began his professional career playing for the Blue Jays' rookie affiliate team the GCL Blue Jays.

He pitched his first career major league no-hitter on April 9, 2021, facing the Texas Rangers as a member of the Padres. His baseball fame has resulted in him gaining over 170,000 followers on his Instagram page.

He is a native of El Cajon, California.
