Professional for more than 40 years, who is best known for his time in the NWA.
He began his career in 1964 under the name Big Jim Vallen.
He was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame in 1996.
He was married three times, and has four children.
Early in his career he was managed by Bobby Heenan .
