He attended Columbia College Chicago before writing for The Jaime Kennedy Experiment (his first big project).

He appeared in the final episode of the hit TV show, Seinfeld.

He was of Scottish and Croatian heritage.

He starred in the stage revue Paradigm Lost in 1997, which starred Tina Fey .
