ABOUT JIM LONBORG

1967 American League Cy Young Award winner who compiled 157 wins across his 15-year career and later became a dentist.

He attended Stanford University before signing with the Boston Red Sox in 1965.

He had a skiing accident after the 1967 season that greatly effected his performance on the mound afterwards.

He had six children with his wife Rosemary.

He won the AL Cy Young Award the same year teammate Carl Yastrzemski won his AL Most Valuable Player Award.
