ABOUT JIM HARRISON
Michigan-born poet and author whose writings cover such topics as the outdoors and food. His famous works include such novella series as Legends of the Fall, The Woman Lit By Fireflies, and The Farmer's Daughter.
He attended Michigan State University. He published his debut work, Wolf: A False Memoir, in 1971.
His three-novella compilation, Legends of the Fall, was adapted into a film starring Brad Pitt .
His father and sister were killed in a car accident when he was twenty-one years old.
He was featured on an episode of No Reservations, a television show hosted by Anthony Bourdain .
