Costa Rican-American fashion model and actress who has worked with Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated, among other clients. She was featured in the 2012 and 2013 SI Swimsuit issues. She often uses her jesslperez Twitter account to promote political messages.
She graduated from Hunter College with a degree in Psychology.
She developed an app called Tycoon that is meant to help freelancers track their income/payments for paid and unpaid jobs. She retweeted a post from Sacha Baron Cohen in November of 2020.
She was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and has lived in Honduras and Ecuador. Her mother did not know she was pregnant with her until she was four months into the pregnancy. Her older sister is just 11 months her senior.
She and Kate Upton were both featured in SI's 2012 Swimsuit issue.
