Reggae and disco musician who had a few minor U.S. and U.K. hits, including the international disco smash remix, "Nice and Slow."
He was fascinated with sound systems as a child, especially that of Count Barrett's.
He kicked off his solo career in 1976.
His family sent him to Denham Town Primary School, where his love of music was first kindled.
He performed with Jimmy Cliff as a member of The Pioneers in the 1970s.
