ABOUT JEREMY SWAYMAN
American professional ice hockey goalkeeper for the Boston Bruins of the NHL. He was selected 111th overall in the fourth round of the 2017 NHL draft. He officially signed a three-year contract with the Bruins in March of 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ice hockey was suspended, and his playing career began in the 2020-21 season. He played college ice hockey for three seasons with the University of Maine Black Bears after being drafted by the Bruins.
He was honored with the Walter Brown Award in 2020, which is given to the top American-born college hockey players in New England. He was named a First-Team All-Star, a Goaltending Champion, and Player of the Year by Hockey East.
He was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. His parents are Anne Boesenberg and Ken Swayman.
He joined teammates Patrice Bergeron and Charlie Coyle on the Bruins.
