Professional relief pitcher that was drafted by the Chicago Cubs during the sixth round of the 2017 Major League Draft. He was drafted out of Palm Desert High School in Palm Desert, California.

He originally began his professional career playing for the AZL Cubs. He recorded a 1.42 earned run average over his 4 outings with the team.

Unlike most pitchers, he is a switch hitter. In fact, less than 15 percent of all major league batters are switch hitters.

He is a native of the Indio, California area. He has a brother.

He had Tommy John surgery which is a procedure common among athletes particularly in baseball. It was named after MLB pitcher Tommy John .
