Fashion designer and founder of Love Seen a natural line of false eyelashes. She is also an interior designer on The Expert. She is best known for being the former creative director and president of J.Crew.

She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in California. She attended Parsons School of Design.

She has a genetic condition called inconsistencia pigmente
that affects the skin, teeth, and hair. She won Glamour's 2012 Women of the Year award. Growing up, she was bullied. She was dubbed in 2013 as "the woman that dresses America."

She has a son named Beckett who she had with her former husband Vincent Mazeau. She has a brother named Spencer and Barbara Lyons is her mother.

Catherine O'Hara and Tina Fey have worn eyelashes from her brand, Love Seen.
