Highly-touted baseball phenom that was selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals . The very next season, he was promoted to the Kansas City Royals' major league club. He is often referred to by his nickname "JAC."
He was a two-time NCAA All-American while at the University of Florida . At the time, he pitched and played outfield.
He finished his collegiate career as Florida's all-time leader in career home runs. He also holds Florida's single-season record for home runs with 35.
He and his sister, Samantha, grew up living with their parents in Tampa, Florida.
He attended the same high school as Pete Alonso .
