ABOUT JEETAN PATEL

New Zealand cricketer known as a bowler with teams like Wellington and Warwickshire. With the New Zealand national team, he has competed in events like the 2007 Cricket World Cup.

He began playing for his home town team Wellington at the Under-15 level.

In 2004, he became the first cricketer in twenty years to take fifty league wickets for Buckingham Town Cricket Club.

His first child, a daughter named Niya, was born in 2014.

He has played alongside Daniel Vettori in Test play.
