ABOUT JEET HEER
Jeet Heer is a Canadian journalist and author, he is well known for his commentary and criticism of political comics. He has written for The National Post, The New Yorker, and The Paris Review. He is a self proclaimed "twitter essayist" with 220,000 followers on the platform.
He attended the York University in Toronto for his doctoral thesis.
In 2013 he published the book, "In Love with Art: Francoise Mouly's Adventures in Comics with Art Spiegelman".
In 2019 Jeet and his wife Robin had their first daughter, Bella.
HE published an anthology of comic studies with Kent Worcester, a prominent political scientist.
