ABOUT JEAN HUGARD

Australian magician remembered for his sleight of hand and card trickery.

After viewing a Haselmayer show in 1880, he was inspired to become a magician. His professional career started sixteen years later.

For his contributions to the field of magic, he was inducted into the Society of American Magicians Hall of Fame.

He was born in Toowoomba, Queensland.

He and Rugby professional Mark Gerrard were both born in Australia.
