Rapper who rose to fame in New York City's underground rap scene in the 90's as a member of the groups Ground Zero and Natural Resource. She later earned acclaim as a solo artist with albums like 2002's Attack of the Attacking Things and 2004's This Week.

She dropped out of New York University after three weeks. She was then discovered by future U.S. Department of State cultural ambassador George Martinez.
