ABOUT JASMINE SCHMALHAUS

Fitness enthusiast and professional bodybuilder who founded Jazzy Things, which chronicles her fitness journey, including her recipes, e-cookbooks, and cooking classes. She also founded Tastebud Parties, which are her own vegan cookies made with natural ingredients.

Her fitness journey began in 2012 when she signed up for a local gym in Utah and she instantly fell in love with the positive atmosphere.

She has her master's degree in Human Resources and previously worked at Nestle USA at a Dreyer's Ice Cream plant.

She grew up on a farm in Colorado raising cows, pigs and turkeys. She has also lived in Utah and California.

She and Maria Garcia are both professional fitness competitors.
