American alternative comedian, writer, animator, podcaster, and actor who has written comedic articles and created video content for prominent outlets including Adult Swim, Comedy Central, Paste, and Super Deluxe. She is widely known for her one-woman shoes such as I Lost My Virginity on August 15, 2010 and Boss, Whom is Girl.
She worked at a hot dog truck as a teen. After graduating from Emerson College in 2014, she briefly worked at The Boston Globe.
She received an Emmy Award nomination for her work on the Adult Swim series Robot Chicken in 2020. In 2018, she took the Mensa IQ test while hungover and scored in the 98th percentile. This led to her podcast My Year in Mensa, which she used to expose an alt-right undercurrent within the organization's online platforms. The podcast achieved recognition from media platforms including The New Yorker.
Her father worked as a sports reporter while her mother was a daycare operator.
