ABOUT JAMIE DAY

Football coach and former player who played for nearly 20 years as a member of 12 different club soccer teams and also as a member of England's national team. In 2018, he was signed to be the new head coach of the Bangladesh national team.

He began his professional soccer career in 1997 as a member of Arsenal FC .

While playing for the Bournemouth football club during the 1999-2000 season, he scored his first career goal during a 2-0 away win against Cambridge United.

He is a native of Bexley, London.

Like David Beckham , he was also a member of England's national team during the 1990s.
