ABOUT JAMES NATHAN
Barrister and chef who is best known for competing in the BBS series MasterChef in 2008 where he won. He is known for being the Head Chef at The St. Enodoc Hotel in Rock, Cornwall.
He began his career by practicing criminal law in Bristol. He then moved to Spain with the hopes of opening a restaurant. Unable to get a permit, he moved back to the UK and applied for the MasterChef competition series.
In addition to winning MasterChef, he is also known for having co-written and published a book called The Trailrider Guide - Spain: Single Track Mountain Biking in Spain.
He was born and raised in Bristol, England. He frequently collaborates with his wife Linsey Stroud on a variety of projects.
He has worked alongside chefs Richard Corrigan and Rick Stein at their restaurants.
