ABOUT JAMES NAILE

Professional reliever that was originally drafted by the Oakland Athletics during the 20th round of the 2015 Major League Draft. After being released, he would later sign with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2021.

He first began his collegiate career playing baseball at Parkland Community College. He would later transfer to the University of Alabama at Birmingham .

He made his official Major League debut pitching against the Miami Marlins on June 27, 2022. He recorded six straight scoreless innings to begin his MLB career.

Growing up, he lived with his parents in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He is one of two siblings. His dog George frequently appears on his Instagram.

He played alongside Miles Mikolas during the 2022 MLB regular season.
