ABOUT JAMES MILLER

Film director who was killed by a soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces while filming a documentary in Palestine in 2003. The documentary, titled Death in Gaza, was released by HBO in 2004 to considerable acclaim.

He attended the London College of Printing before working as a cameraman for Frontline News in the 90's.

He was a multiple-time Emmy winner for his work on films like Beneath the Veil and Unholy War.

He was married to Sophy Warren-Knott, with whom he had children named Adam and Charlotte.

He and journalist Scott Pelley are both recipients of the Peabody Award.
