James Kottak

ABOUT JAMES KOTTAK

Drummer for the German heavy metal band Scorpions. He was the band's longest-serving member before being fired in 2016. He also established a band called Kottak.

Before joining Scorpions, he played with such bands as Wild Horses, Buster Brown, and Nut House.

He performed on two Kingdom Come albums. Scorpions released their 18th album, Return to Forever, in 2015 before his departure.

He married and divorced Athena Lee .

His ex-wife was the younger sister of Tommy Lee .
