ABOUT JAMES HONEYMAN-SCOTT
Guitarist, songwriter, and founder of the English rock band The Pretenders.
He played in several bands including The Hawks and The Cheeks before forming The Pretenders.
He died of a drug overdose when he was twenty-five years old.
He was raised in Herefordshire, England.
He was heavily influenced by the guitar work of Duane Allman .
