ABOUT JAKE MEYERS

Professional outfielder that was drafted by the Houston Astros during the 13th round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Tri-City ValleyCats of the Frontier League.

Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Nebraska, where he played as both an outfielder and a starting pitcher.

He made his major league debut playing against the San Francisco Giants on August 1, 2021.

He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska with his parents, Paul and Laurie Meyers, and his sister Lauren. His father is a former baseball player that was drafted in the fourth round of the 1986 MLB Draft.

He played alongside José Altuve during the 2021 MLB season.
