ABOUT JAKE CRONENWORTH

Professional infielder who was traded to the San Diego Padres during the 2019 Major League Baseball offseason. In 2021, he was selected to be a member of the National League All-Star team.

He attended the University of Michigan , where he played as an infielder and the closing pitcher. In 2015, he was drafted in the seventh round by the Tampa Bay Rays .

On August 4, 2021 he hit his first career Major League home run against Dustin May and the Los Angeles Dodgers .

He is a native of St. Clair, Michigan. He is the son of Anne and Charles Cronenworth.

He played alongside Manny Machado and Fernando Tatís Jr. as a member of the Padres during the 2020 and 2021 MLB regular season.
