He was originally scouted by a number of agencies in Houston, Texas, but felt his look was more amenable to New York agencies. He sent out photos to other agencies, securing his mother agency.

He has often posted photos with his nieces and nephews on his Instagram account.

In January 2016, he modeled alongside Jordan Barrett in an editorial campaign for Summer Winter Magazine.
