ABOUT JACOB BURTON

Professional chef, culinary educator, and content creator, who has served as Executive Chef & Beverage Director of the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel, which he assisted in opening in 2017. He is the operator of the websites Stella Culinary and Free Culinary School (FCS).

He graduated from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, CA. Prior to becoming a well-known content creator, he served as the opening executive chef of Stella Restaurant and the Cedar House Sport Hotel, a position he held for over 5 years.

He is the founder of an educational series called Culinary Boot Camp. He also hosts a program called Chef Jacob's Podcast. He shares educational videos on cooking and food science with over 200,000 subscribers on his self-titled YouTube channel.
