ABOUT JACKSON TANNER STEPHENS

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds during the 18th round of the 2012 Major League Draft. He was later signed by the Atlanta Braves in January 2022. During his professional career, he has also pitched in the Mexican League.

He was drafted out of Oxford High School in Oxford, Alabama. If he hadn't been drafted, he had plans of playing college baseball at the University of Alabama .

He made his official MLB debut playing against the Chicago Cubs on July 1, 2017 as a member of the Reds. He pitched five innings and recorded 8 strikeouts.

He is a native of Oxford, Alabama. His wife Brittany is a neonatal intensive care nurse.

He pitched against Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo during his MLB debut.
