ABOUT JACKSON KOWAR

Professioanl pitcher that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the first round of the 2018 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Florida where he won the 2017 College World Series. He joined the All-SEC Second Team in 2018.

He began his professional career playing for the Lexington Legends. He played for the Wilmington Blue Rocks as well.

He broke the record for having the most strikeouts in a College World Series game in 2017 by striking out 13 batters in one game. He played for Clemson University during his college career. After being laid off in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he joined the Omaha Storm Chasers.

He grew up living with his family in Weddington, North Carolina. His father, Frank, was a professional baseball player as well.

Jonathan Bowlan also pitched for the Kansas City Royals.
