ABOUT JACKIE BIRD
Scottish newsreader best known for her work as an anchor on BBC Scotland's Reporting Scotland. She has also served as a writer and producer for the radio comedy series The Lewis Lectures and Having it All.
She got her start working for teen magazines and was the Pop Editor for Jackie magazine.
She is also a musician who has toured with the band Echo & the Bunnymen.
She has children with her previous husband, newspaper editor Bob Bird. She got re-married to Robin Weir in 2007.
She was worked closely with Reporting Scotland presenter Sally Magnusson .
