His acting credits go beyond Hollywood, as he performed in a number of Broadway plays throughout his career. As a painter, he saw two of his works selected by New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art by the time he turned twenty years-old.
He married second wife, Marie de Narde in 1949.
He worked with Barry Nelson on James Bond films.
