ABOUT JA'KOBE WALTER

Former McDonald's All-American and athlete that was taken as a first round pick by the Toronto Raptors during the 2024 NBA draft. He previously played college basketball at Baylor University . During his first season at Baylor, he was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year and a member of the third team All-Big 12.

He first began his high school career at McKinney High in McKinney, Texas. He later transferred to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri.

In the year 2024, he was given the preseason and postseason Freshman of the Year Awards for the Big 12. His 508 points scored was the second most in program history. He stands six feet, five inches tall and weighs about 195 pounds.

He grew up living in the Dallas suburb of McKinney, Texas.

He was named a McDonald's All-American in the year 2023 just like Isaiah Collier .
