ABOUT J ANTHONY BROWN

Comedian, actor, and radio personality known for his roles in Tyler Perry's Assisted Living , Living Single , Moesha , and House of Payne .  He worked as a writer for Steve Harvey's Big Time Challenge and The Arsenio Hall Show. He received the Peabody Award and the NAACP Image Award.

He started his career in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Denmark Technical College, in South Carolina.

He has branched out into the world of fashion by developing the J. Anthony Brown Collection and opening the J. Spot Clothing Store. He trained as a tailor before becoming an actor. He owns the The J. Anthony Brown Comedy Store in Los Angeles, California.

His daughter is named Mahoganie Brown.

His costars in Tyler Perry's Assisted Living included Na'im Lynn and Tayler Buck .
