ABOUT IVAN HERNANDEZ
Doctor and fitness instructor who has over 60,000 followers on Instagram. His Facebook group, Live Longer With Dr. Ivan, is aimed at advising people on how to be healthy both physically and mentally. It has over 1500 members.
He had a heart attack at 38 that inspired him to start paying attention to his emotional and spiritual health in addition to physical fitness. He received his doctorate in physical therapy from NYU in 2001.
He was named one of Black Enterprise's Modern Men 100 Men of Distinction in 2016. He's run physical therapy boot camps in Yonkers, New York with his son, Ivan Jr.
He has two sons, Ivan Jr. and Henry.
He posted a video for one of his son's birthdays set to "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars .
