He is also known for being associated with Mompha Bureau De Change Ltd and Ismalob Global Investment Ltd. He has also been a central figure in a high-profile Economic and Financial Crimes Commission case.

His social media presence grew in the late 2010s, when his posts of luxury cars and air travel started trending and his follower count grew significantly. He and his company Ismalob Global Investment was charged in an eight-count Lagos prosecution beginning January 2022.
