Her grandmother tried to teach her how to knit when she was a child, but failed at the time. Isabelle later taught herself to knit using old knitting books.

She was part of Mason Dixon Knitting's March Tournament of Patterns in 2018 and made it to the Championship Round.

She's owned two cats named Mr. Rossi and Tigger.
