ABOUT IMITIAZ QURESHI
Chef and restaurateur best known for creating the Bukhara restaurant, which is part of the luxury hotel chain ITC Hotels. He is widely credited with reviving the "dum pukht" method of Pakistani cooking.
He began his culinary career with the catering company Krishna Caterers.
In 2016, he became the first chef ever to receive the Padma Shri award from the government of India.
He had children named Ashfaque, Ishtiyaque, Irfan, Ehsan and Imran.
He cooked for former Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru .
