Female rap artist who has opened for and worked with several notable rappers, including Frank Nitt, Damani, Pete Rock, Jean Grae, and Jay Rock. She has regularly performed in Los Angeles.

She got her start in music by doing a marketing internship where she met artist Mykestro, who encouraged her to pursue her talent as an artist. She released her first album, The Pre-Write, in 2011 with the help of legendary producer DJ Battlecat.

She draws her musical inspiration from artists such as Roy Ayers and Stevie Wonder .

She was born in Compton, but raised in Los Angeles and in the Inland Empire. She has four siblings.

Kendrick Lamar mentioned her as one of his "favorites" during a May 2011 interview, calling her "the hardest" across the board.
