Ian Watmore
ABOUT IAN WATMORE
Accountant and civil servant known for his time as the Permanent Secretary at the Cabinet Office, which he retired from in June 2012. He'd previously served as Cabinet Office's COO for the Efficiency and Reform Group.
He attended the University of Cambridge, then spent two decades working for Andersen Consulting.
From 2009 to early 2010, he served as the Chief Executive of the Football Association, which oversees all levels of soccer in England.
He and his wife Georgina has a son named Duncan, who plays professional soccer.
He and David Gill have both served on the Board of Directors for the Football Association.
