ABOUT IAN DAVENPORT
Painter who was a Turner Prize nominee in 1991. He found acclaim for his poured lines and puddle paintings which were featured in the Hana Building in 2014. He has more than 80,000 followers on his iandavenportofficial Instagram account.
He studied art at Northwich College of Art and Design before graduating from Goldsmiths College in 1988.
He held his first show in 1990 and took part in the British Art Show the same year.
He is from Sidcup, England.
He went to school with fellow artist Damien Hirst .
