ABOUT IAN ANDERSON

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Atlanta Braves during the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Shenendehowa High School where he was a Perfect Game All-American in 2015.

He began his professional career playing for the Braves' rookie affiliate team the GCL Braves.

He made his major league debut pitching against the New York Yankees on August 26, 2020.

He is a native of Rexford, New York. His twin brother, Ben Anderson, is also a professional baseball player.

Growing up, he played youth baseball with NBA Basketball Player Kevin Huerter .
