ABOUT HUBERT GERMAIN
Politician who is recognized for having been a member of the French Resistance during World War II. He was, at one time, the last living Companion of the Order of Liberation.
In 1942, he took part in the Battle of Bir Hakeim and the Battle of El Alamein. He also took part in the Operation Dragoon.
His remains lay at rest in Vault 9 of the Mémorial de la France combattante.
He was born in Paris, France.
Both he and Emmanuel Macron were French politicians.
