ABOUT HU YETAO
Chinese singer and reality television star, best known as a contestant on two seasons of the survival show, Produce Camp. He is a current contestant on the international idol survival show, Chuang Asia Season 2. He has garnered over 330,000 followers on Instagram under the handle h_yetao.
He first gained popularity in early 2018 after going viral for his naturally cute looks on Douyin (Chinese TikTok) while working at a milk tea shop. At the time, he was taking dance classes in Beijing. In 2021, he was a contestant on the New Generation Hip-Hop Project, and on July 28th, 2021, he released the single, "Ugly."
On Chuang Asia Season 2, he was ranked A-tier by all judges. On Produce Camp 2021, he was eliminated during the finale, at the rank of 23. He posts behind-the-scenes reels of his participation on the survival shows to Instagram, alongside lifestyle content and promotional content for brands.
He was born in Jiangsu, China.
