Professional infielder that was signed by the New York Yankees as an international free agent in 2014. He was acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates via trade in July 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Yankees' rookie affiliate team the Pulaski Yankees.

He made his major league debut playing against the Boston Red Sox on July 16, 2021 as a member of the Yankees.

He is a native of Seoul, South Korea.

He played alongside Colin Moran as a member of the Pirates during the 2021 MLB season.
