ABOUT HORACE CLARKE

Former Major Leaguer, most remembered as a solid second baseman for the New York Yankees .

He started his career in 1958, when he was signed as a free agent by the New York Yankees.

As one of the most famous members of the New York Yankees from 1967 to 1973, many dubbed the period the Horace Clarke Era.

He was born in Frederiksted, US Virgin Islands.

He and Robinson Cano were both longtime second basemen for the Yankees.
