Professional pitcher that was signed by the Boston Red Sox as an international free agent on February 16, 2021. Prior to the Red Sox, he played professionally for the Yomiuri Giants and the Chiba Lotte Marines of the Nippon Professional Baseball league in Japan.
He played college baseball at Chuo University.
He was selected for the Japanese national baseball team during the 2013 World Baseball classic.
He is a native of Tochigi, Japan.
He made his professional major league debut facing Cedric Mullins and the Baltimore Orioles on April 2, 2021.
