She relocated to Seoul at the age of 19 and directed her attention towards both music and art. She frequently crafts cover artwork for indie bands based within the city.

She worked as a graphic designer at a design company. However, she chose to forge her own path as an illustrator and artist. Her henn_kim Instagram account has amassed 750,000 followers.

She was born and raised in Ulsan, South Korea, where she lived until the age of 18.
