Estonian children's book author and poet who rose to prominence in the early 2000s. His literary works include Flying Apple Tree, Jan's Adventures in Shadowland, and Clock's Cuckoo.
He published his first work, Under Unconscious, in 2001.
He published his first Russian-language work, Fear, in 2010.
He was born and raised in Tartu, Estonia.
He is a contemporary of American writer Michael Chabon .
