ABOUT HARVEY JAMES

Australian guitarist remembered for being a member of rock bands like Mississippi, Sherbet and The Party Boys. He died of lung cancer in January 2011.

He moved with his parents from England to Australia in the early 1960's.

His first recording with Sherbet was "Howzat," which shot to #1 on the Australian singles chart.

He was survived by his wife, Fay, and three children.

He was bandmates in Sherbet with lead singer Daryl Braithwaite .
